How to Have an Elegant Wedding - with Kids of All Ages! --With In Casa Gifts

Hi Lovelies!
If you choose to have children at your wedding, I hope you have a game-plan! Here are some tips and tricks to having a successful night. :)

1. Have a plan! Keep your Moms and Dads in the loop! Depending on how many children you have in attendance, think about creating a separate program just for them. Include on it the do's and don'ts, where parents can change diapers, give little ones a chance to nap, etc.


2. Give them responsibility. When faced with one task, some children will do whatever they can to feel like they are being useful. Let them hand out bubbles or fans as your guests enter the church! Even better, hand out some disposable wedding cameras and let them capture a whole new perspective you would have never thought about! They're plastic, let the photographer grab all of the essential shots while your kiddies grab some candid ones. Keep them busy while putting them to work!

They've been running around all day, by the time they get to the reception and are ready to show off their dance moves, they are going to be tired. A bit of a sugar rush will be just what they need before they pass right out.



#5. Be understanding - kids will be kids. Yes, kids are goofy! Likely you'll have the occasional tot crying or whining, but the older kids will probably be a little mischievous. They're at a family gathering with cousins that they may not regularly see! Let them have a bit of fun at the reception- you can relax now too. :)
